Basement Waterproofing In the Carolinas
WaterGuard is a piping system engineered specifically to solve basement water problems effectively without the worry of soils under the floor clogging the drain. As an innovation on the old-fashioned French drain and drain systems, it has large holes in the back to accept water that it then drains to a sump pump system. A special wall flange can also collect water from the walls, allowing for full protection from basement water.
The WaterGuard system is applicable to all types of foundations including block, poured concrete, stone, etc. Weep holes are drilled into block walls to drain water into the system. Water enters drainage system via holes on the wall side and flows into the waterproofing drain to a SuperSump or other drain. The system installs at about half the price of French drain systems installed outside of the home, and unlike these systems, they're not sitting in the mud several feet underground, where they're bound to clog and require expensive maintenance in the future.

TrenchDrain Surface Drainage System

FloodChek Heavy Duty Washing Machine Hoses
Shutting off the water valves when the washer is not in use can greatly reduce the potential for water damage. But if the pressure is going to be on at all times, you need hoses that can take it. FloodChek hoses are the finest washing machine inlet hoses in the world. They will not blow out, corrode, or rust at the end connections.
Consumer grade hoses that come with washing machines and their equivalent replacements are of minimum quality. Under good conditions, they last no more than 4 or 5 years. FloodChek hoses are guaranteed for 20 years (see warranty). FloodChek hoses are not available in stores.
