The basement or crawl space is part of the inside of a building as a whole. As warm air rises in the home and exits through the attic and upper levels, the cooler air below is sucked upwards to fill the void. If there's high humidity and musty odors downstairs, it will be pulled upwards and affect the upstairs environment. Much of this air will come from a basement or crawl space- especially if that crawl space is vented. Therefore, by drying your basement or crawl space, the SaniDry will help your whole house to be drier and healthier!
